Public Relations
In 2007 Blue Planet Run covered 15,200 miles, across 16 countries and 3 continents, 24 hours a day for 95 days to deliver an extremely urgent and important message: water is life.
16-country PR program raised global awareness and funds for the safe drinking water crisis
1.1 billion people in the world do not have access to safe drinking water. Some 6,000 children die every day from disease associated with lack of access to safe drinking water.
Robert Palmer, president of Platzner | brand storytellers, served as interim Chief Marketing Officer to the Blue Planet Run Foundation today called Blue Planet Network.
Palmer guided the foundation as it defined and launched its new brand and completed its first global fund-raising event to raise awareness and money for the global drinking water crisis.
He also directed the award-winning 16 country public relations program implemented by a global network of agencies that generated over 600 million impressions worldwide.
